As we all know, film crews can create vast amounts of waste whilst on location. Much of this waste could be recycled but currently isn’t. Our new rubbish collection service gives your production the opportunity to dispose of your catering and crew waste in a responsible and affordable way. Here’s how it’s priced:
- STANDARD SERVICE: £50 - Standard landfill collection (your waste is tipped at landfill)
- WASTE AND RECYCLING SERVICE: £55 - LOCATION ONE will separate out caterers' recyclables (i.e. cardboard boxes and food packaging) and dispose of at our recycling plant.
- SUPER RECYCLING: As per the waste and recycling service, but we will also collect transparent ‘LOCATION ONE’ recycling bags for £1.99 per bag. You can fill these with ‘dry recyclables’, such as paper/plastic bottles/cans. This is a ‘pay as you go’ service. Your production office may like to keep some bags too. We can then collect from them directly or they could get their recycling sent to base for collection by us.
Poly cups/plates and containers are unfortunately not recyclable but your caterers can order recyclable and sustainable alternatives from our range.
